I mainly saw it as a gimmick and in terms of coding, my perspective was:

Coding with AI is bad, people should code themselves.

But now my view is, good code should be accepted whether it comes from AI or a person, emphasis on good code.

Starting To Learn Ansible

In college I bought my first laptop to write code.
It wasn’t the flashiest thing, but I figured I should learn about Linux.
I installed Debian and used it throughout my undergrad.
I’m still not the most knowledgeable Linux person but this period of time definitely helped me in the long run in knowing how computers work and seeing things happen step-by-step.
But my favorite part was learning to use all the small tools that come with Linux and customizing them.

Hello World 2

After two years, I am still alive and in a new part of my life so I am restarting this website!

Migrating Over To Hugo

Originally this website was made using Jekyll, but I’ve been interested in learning the Go programming language and so I decided to use Hugo. So far no complaints!

The Language Learning Journey (And Dropping German 🤫)

In my first and only blog post up to now, I talked about how I think language learning can be done at any age. Some things have changed. I still do think that languages can be learned at any age. However, in that post, I used German examples because I was learning it at the time. I started learning German because my friends did, and I kept it up for a while - about 1.5 years! After a long time of somewhat consistent studying and steady improvement, I decided to not continue with German and to just put it on the shelf ☹️. After a while, it felt like I was putting a lot of effort into something that was not benefitting me much and while I love learning for the sake of learning, I felt that there were other languages that would be more useful to me. A while ago I picked up Mandarin and while my Mandarin is not the greatest, it feels super fulfilling to study and I’ve learned a whole lot.

Hello World!

Welcome to my first blog post!

Hey there, welcome to the first ever post on this website and my first ever blog post in general! I have always been interested in blogging but never actually tried and so I figured

What better a time to start than when putting up my own website?

One thing that I hope to learn through blogging is how to better articulate my own ideas. There have been countless times where I have had ideas that seem really good in my head, but when it comes time to explain it, I can’t. So this gives me the opportunity to practice articulating my thoughts about things that I find really interesting, such as languages!
