So far no complaints!</p> <h2 id="the-language-learning-journey-and-dropping-german-shushing_face">The Language Learning Journey (And Dropping German &#x1f92b;)</h2> <p>In my first and only blog post up to now, I talked about how I think language learning can be done at any age. Some things have changed. I still do think that languages can be learned at any age. However, in that post, I used German examples because I was learning it at the time. I started learning German because my friends did, and I kept it up for a while - about 1.5 years! After a long time of somewhat consistent studying and steady improvement, I decided to not continue with German and to just put it on the shelf &#x2639;&#xfe0f;. After a while, it felt like I was putting a lot of effort into something that was not benefitting me much and while I love learning for the sake of learning, I felt that there were other languages that would be more useful to me.
